Demolition Man

When I was growing up in the 1970’s, we had one small movie theater we went to practically every Saturday for the matinee. It was one town over from mine in Nutley, New Jersey. It was called the Franklin Theater. How I loved those Saturdays at the movies. I went with friends, my parents never came. Just me and some close friends watching the latest movie together. Around the year 2000 the Franklin Theater closed it’s doors for the last time. A few years later it was torn down to make way for an apartment building. I remember my husband and I drove past it when they were tearing the building down and we were sad to see it go. Little did I know at the time, how incredible movie theaters would become. Now a days if you are looking to find me at the movie theater I’ll be in a reclining car with my feet up in 7th heaven. We’ve come a long way baby. Namaste and Blessings, Mia Bella
