LOVING COUPLES

I’ve been a married woman since the age of 23. Yesterday was my 31st wedding anniversary. My husband and I spent the day together exploring the beauty of nature on a small island in Connecticut. We didn’t “plan” the day out – we simply drove around the island following signs that pointed to what felt like little pieces of paradise. Small hamlets of the most beautiful kind. It was a gorgeous Fall day to us. The air was cool and crisp, the leaves on the trees were turning fiery colors of red and orange with a bright blue sky above us covered with just the right amount of wispy white clouds. My favorite part of our journey was when we stopped at a little strip of beach and picked seashells. My husband spontaneously used a piece of drift wood and wrote our names in the sand. Michael loves Mia. Then he put a heart around it. Sounds corny right? But it didn’t feel that way to me…I felt loved by my husband, as we were enjoying a relaxed moment of “lovemaking” between a couple that has stood the test of time. And as corny as this may sound, if I had it to do all over again, marry my husband that is, I’d say I DO a thousand times over and over again. Namaste and blessings, Mia Bella 😉
